When a high profile rider catches a good swell in Hawaii, or Indonesia, chances are we hear about it within a couple of days – and often we get to see it in glorious high definition. To have these kind of conditions and this level of riding captured by great camera work off the West coast of Ireland is a little less common, and all the more special. We know it's true that Ireland is a world class location for wind and surf, but somehow it's nice to have the proof.
Ryan Coote absolutely tears it apart here in a stunning solo session, which by the sounds of it came at the end of a bit of a dry spell last Autumn. We'll be making every effort to catch up with Ryan for a full report soon – until then enjoy “A Controlling High”.
