North releases their 2022 lineupREAD MORE
We’ve teamed up with our friends at Holland-based, handcrafted kiteboard makers Lieuwe to offer you the unique chance of not only picking a new, limited edition design by Waxed for Lieuwe boards… but also bagging yourself one in the process!
Not only that, but the winner will also receive a FREE subscription to TheKiteMag for a year. Two runners up will also receive a year’s subscription each!
It’s super simple to enter. Here’s all you have to do:
1. Head to our Instagram (@thekitemag) or our Facebook (facebook.com/thekitemaginternational)
2. Find the recently posted Lieuwe competition
3. Pick your favorite design of board by commenting below the Instagram or/and the Facebook post (you have a choice of designs A, B or C)
4. That’s it! We’ll randomly pick the winners from the most popular design on Monday April 10th and let each of you know!
Then, to celebrate the launch of this limited edition design (only 100 will ever be made!) we’ll have a special purchase deal available exclusively for TheKiteMag followers… Just sign up to our mailing list here and we’ll be in touch with details on how you can get yourself one!

…and here’s a little more about Waxed:
Waxed’s mission is to represent and unite all boardriders out on the water through its art. We are all addicted to the same stoke we get during our sessions. That indescribable sensation when the wind is howling and our faces are being sandblasted. It is this feeling that Waxed tries to visualize throughout their work. Combining a dreamlike fantasy world with a deep passion and understanding of what drives people within these sports. It results in a very unique style, their own fingerprint.
Just like Wax itself, the designs stick to whatever person or canvas they get in touch with. From shirts and kites, their distinctive art has now made it to the most progressive kiteboard brand on the market, Lieuwe.
If you haven’t heard from Waxed before, it will for sure not be the last time. Stay on the look-out as they are spreading around the scene like a viral disease.
…and now the boring small print:
