Kirsty Jones is Planet Kitesurf Holiday’s most recent brand ambassador and she will be hosting a luxury kitesurf clinic in Mauritius, offered exclusively through Planet Kitesurf, this September.
As a three-time Kitesurf World Wave Champion, a KPWT World Cup Wave Maters Champion and the first person to kitesurf from Ireland to Wales in 2002, Kirsty Jones is an inspiration to kitesurfers the world over.

After the kitesurf crossing Kirsty did from Ireland to Wales, she knew she wanted to do more long distance crossings – always for a good cause of course! So she decided to kitesurf from Lanzarote to the Sahara, raising money for charity. The wind changed direction along the way, meaning the crossing took nine hours of non-stop riding but, ever up for a challenge, Kirsty says that she can’t wait to kitesurf it in reverse now!
