Giveaway Terms

The giveaway runs from 19 January 3pm WET to 2 February 3pm WET.

Winners will be contacted by 7 February 2022, via email.

The main prize is an O’Neill Supermodel V2 kite & O’Neill Dreamstick V2 bar in the size of the winner’s choosing (subject to availability)

The winner will be chosen at random.

Giveaway Terms and Conditions:

  1. No purchase is necessary to enter the giveaway.
  2. This giveaway is open to residents in the following countries: United Kingdom, Ireland, Germany, Belgium, Netherlands, Austria, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Finland, Poland, France, Spain, Portugal, Italy, Greece, Switzerland, Croatia aged 18 years or over. Employees of Promoter, its parent company, subsidiaries, affiliates or other parties, including but not limited to TheKiteMag and O’Neill, as well as the immediate family (spouse, parents, siblings, children) and household members of each such employee and/or authors, are not eligible to participate in the Promotion.
  3. This giveaway will commence at 3pm 19 January 2022 and all entries must be received by 3pm 2 February 2022. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any entries that are incomplete, illegible, corrupted or fail to reach the Promoter by the relevant closing date for any reason. Proof of sending is not proof of receipt. Entries via agents or third parties are invalid.
  4. Entrants may submit only one entry.
  5. To enter, entrants must sign up to the mailing lists of TheKiteMag and O’Neill.
  6. The prize for the winner includes an O’Neill Supermodel V2 kite & O’Neill Dreamstick V2 bar – size is dependent on availability.
  7. The Promoter’s decision is final. No correspondence will be entered into.
  8. The prizes are non-transferable and no cash alternative will be offered.
  9. Prizes are subject to availability. In the event of unforeseen circumstances, the Promoter reserves the right (a) to substitute alternative prizes of equivalent or greater value and (b) in exceptional circumstances to amend or foreclose the promotion without notice. No correspondence will be entered into.
  10. The winner will be notified via email by 7 February 2022. The winner must claim their prize within 2 working days of the Promoter sending notification. If the prize is unclaimed after this time, it will lapse and the Promoter reserves the right to offer the unclaimed prize to a substitute winner selected in accordance with these rules.
  11. To obtain details of the winner please email [email protected] stating the name of the giveaway in the subject heading 4 weeks after the closing date.

  15. The main prize winner agrees that O’Neill and TheKiteMag can share their first name and city publicly. The winner also agrees to send O’Neill and TheKiteMag hi-resolution photos taken in good light that contain the winner with their prize. The winner further grants O’Neill and TheKiteMag permission to share this on social media and via other media thatO’Neill and TheKiteMag control. The winner further agrees to take part in reasonable post-event publicity and to the use of their names and photographs in such publicity.
