Airton Cozzolino the 4x Strapless Freestyle/Wave World Champion finally realised one of his kitesurfing dreams. After a successful video application he was granted an invitation to compete in the 2020 Redbull King Of The Air alongside the worlds best Big Air Kite Surfers. His entry into the event was greeted with both scepticism and excitement. Regardless of the critics, in the usual Airton style he put on an incredible performance and showed everyone what is possible on a strapless board, earning the respect of his fellow competitors. Many lessons were learnt and the future of big air will surely be an interesting one with his inclusion.
