Sometimes we go somewhere hoping to kite, and don't score anything at all. Sometimes the opposite happens and, when it does, it pays to be prepared!
Sumatra is not really on many kitesurfers map for a reason, but when on a surf trip it always handy to pack a couple kites. I was lucky enough to score a couple of nice sessions. But was pretty nervous kiting with sketchy wind and ridiculously sharp lava coral. Hope you enjoy.
