Maximum restoring force for more pop
At the core of the Fusion 7 lies the innovative Cartan® Triax Carbon laminate — a powerful blend of CORE’s proven carbon fiber with unidirectional reinforcements. This new construction generates even stronger restoring forces for a particularly reactive, sporty riding experience. The board reacts at lightning speed, converts impulses explosively and is even easier to release from the water. More response, more pop, more energy at every take-off.
Precision grip and flow
For the first time in the Fusion series, the lightweight Paulownia wood core has been modelled completely three-dimensionally instead of just milled. The new CAD-based press technology enables high-precision shaping of channels, double concaves and tip layout – with smooth transitions between rocker, outline and underbody geometry. The result: Improved grip, reduced drag, better upwind tracking. Bonus: the new tech cuts production energy use by up to 30%.
Smoother Ride with Less Drag
Inspired by the “Bulbous Bow” in shipbuilding, the new, strikingly wide keel specifically reduces water resistance. It has a positive influence on the flow curve, breaks the surface tension and thus ensures softer landings and more control in choppy water. Paired with curved tip channels, it creates a Venturi effect — boosting speed, early planing, and reactive handling.
Complete torsion box
The new Unibody Edge Light technology completely envelops the wood core in Cartan Carbon, creating a continuous torsion box. This closed structure provides even higher restoring force, significantly more pop and a particularly direct, controlled riding experience. A board that responds to your every impulse.
